C.J. is part of the ranch operations team on our 117-acre property where he handles maintenance and pasture management, among other tasks. He currently is studying sustainable agriculture and natural resource sustainability.

Growing up with horses, C.J. figured out early on how to ride as many horses as possible by mucking for ranch owners in exchange for riding time.

His horsemanship experience includes working for colt starters and roping horse trainers, and he’s taught riding lessons and worked at cattle ranches. C.J. joined Happy Dog Ranch after assisting in a clinic on indigenous horsemanship held here.
