Mark Rashid Aibado Workshop

What is Aibado?

Translated to “For the Love of the Horse,” the practice of Aibado was developed by Mark in 2008. With its roots in the martial art of Aikido, Aibado is a practice that Mark has fine-tuned specifically to benefit horsepeople. Aibado helps us gain a better sense of breathing, blending, timing, balance and feeling within the body. Tapping into the body’s wisdom in this way can improve our ability to connect with and communicate clearly with our horse.

Aibado/Riding

Join us for this popular Aibado/riding workshop! You will practice Aibado in the morning, gaining a feel for common concepts like connection, centering and balance. In the afternoon, you’ll ride with a focus on what you learned in the dojo in the morning.

* There is an option to participate in the Aibado portion only ($500), or the entire day including Aibado in mornings, riding in afternoons ($1200). (Participants only, no auditing).
