Considering the Horse: Mind and Body

A Collaborative Clinic July 9-11 from 9 am - 5 pm

What’s even better than taking your horse to see an amazing clinician? Taking your horse to see TWO! This is our hugely popular collaborative clinic with two internationally acclaimed horsemen — instructor and trainer Mark Rashid and Jim Masterson, founder of The Masterson Method equine bodywork.

This three-day clinic offers the chance to ride with Mark and Jim as they co-teach to help both horse and rider, and review aspects of the horse’s performance from both a training and biomechanical perspective.

Day 1: first individual ride with instruction and evaluation from Mark and Jim;

Day 2: bodywork session for your horse with Jim;

Day 3: second individual ride with instruction and evaluation from Mark and Jim.

Fee: $850 (includes two rides with Mark & Jim, and a bodywork session for your horse from Jim). Clinic fee must be paid in full at registration.

Individual sessions with Mark or Jim:

If you’re not participating in the three-day clinic, there also is an option to take a private lesson with Mark and/or schedule an individual bodywork session for your horse with Jim. They both reserve a limited number of spots specifically for individual sessions during this clinic. This is a great way to benefit from the skill of these experts, even if you can’t commit to all three days.

Fee for either practitioner: $225 for a one-hour session

Auditors welcome!

Auditors are welcome for both riding and bodywork sessions! This is a great opportunity to soak up knowledge from Mark and Jim, listen to them teach, ask questions, and watch a wide variety of riders and horses as they progress and change over the three days. Auditors give this experience rave reviews! Lunch is included in the audit fee.

Audit Fee: $80/day if paid in advance, or $100/day if paid on the day of the clinic.
