Kaitlyn Pickett – Volunteer Coordination and Training

After caring for HDR animals for the past five years, Kaitlyn now helps coordinate our volunteer program and teach new volunteers. She became involved with Happy Dog Ranch as a teenager and joined our staff after graduating from high school.

Kaitlyn continues to advance her horsemanship skills after five years of working with HDR trainer Gray Kyle-Graves and learning from Louise Thayer on our staff. She’s a regular participant in Mark Rashid clinics and practices Aibado, developed by Mark to enhance horsemanship and inspired by the Japanese martial art of Aikido.
